Climb up the famous Dune 45 at sunrise. This dune reaches about 300 metres in the
dark Namibian night sky. It is absolutely worth your while to make your way up to the top. But it's not as easy as it looks from the bottom. The dune is tricky and only shows you where its real peak is after you made half your way.
Only then you will see that this sand mountain is twice as high as you can see from the ground. Finally on top, a
stunning and almost unreal view will be revealed to you. How can a day start any better than this?

Nature and animal lovers will never forget this amazing opportunity. Go on a guided desert walk in Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei. Park your car near Dune 45. An experienced
ranger will fetch you in a 4x4 for an exciting day in the world's highest sand dunes.

Sesriem Canyon Walk
Depending on the time you arrive at Sesriem Canyon, go for a walk on the ground along the sedimentary rock. Sometimes the canyon is completely filled with water from the Tsauchab River. In the dry days there are only some small pools or puddles.
Enjoy small caves and strange looking rock formations. A walk in Sesriem Canyon will take you back in time for about 15 to 18 million of years. This is great for visitors interested in geology.

Ballooning over the Namib Desert is one of the most scenic and tranquilizing adventures on earth. This
hot-air balloon trip starts before sunrise. You will be fetched from your accommodation and brought to Sesriem, which is also famous for the same-named canyon.
As your balloon slowly starts
rising higher into the Namib Desert air in the morning, have a look at the beautiful Namibian sky before the sun slowly begins to look over the horizon. An amazingly beautiful view will be revealed to you.
